The heart of Lunar Wellness. We gather in our private Discord sanctuary — a circle of individuals holding space for one another. Each session carries an intention, anchors around a chosen crystal, and weaves together meditation, breathwork, and gentle embodied movement. A three-class course at Paradox at PeCo
Three evenings for anyone drawn to tarot who is not sure where to begin, or who owns a deck and wants a real relationship with it. We treat the cards as a mirror, not a fortune-telling device.

A market of curious things, at Paradox at PeCo
The parking lot becomes a marketplace for the afternoon. I will be there the whole time reading tarot at the Lunar Wellness tent, alongside vendors bringing jewelry, art, ceramics, florals, and more.
Lineage & Accreditation
Reiki is passed hand to hand, teacher to student, in an unbroken line back to its founder, Mikao Usui. Mine didn't begin in a classroom. It began with a deck of tarot cards.
Age 5
My mom handed me tarot cards before I could read the words printed on them. It was the first way I learned to slow down and pay attention to what I was feeling.
Growing up
Home wasn't always steady. I grew up around depression and codependency and spent years learning to recognize both — in the house I came from and in myself. Poetry was where I started to express myself, and around then I began reading about alternative medicine.
Paths crossing
I found my way to Norma De Jesus and started to rent books about codependency from her and purchase trinkets from her store.
2019
I published Backspace, a collection written through that work. Finishing it was the first time I treated my own healing as something worth seeing all the way through.
First sessions
In time, I started having sessions with her. I'd leave each one certain I wanted to do healing work, and with no idea how. The pull showed up long before the path did.
Turning inward
A few life-altering events sent me further into my own sessions with Norma and deeper into understanding myself. Reiki was what finally helped me heal in a way nothing else had reached.
Certification
I completed the full Usui path online, first level through master. It taught me how to work on myself. But learning over a screen, with no one in the room, left me unsure I was ready to hold that space for anyone else.
Years later
After years apart, we crossed paths again at a multi-healing session — singing bowls, reiki, tuning forks, the works. Our timing kept catching like that, pulling us back together like a web. We started working together not long after, this time with intention.
2024–2025
Norma worked with me in my own sessions and then attuned me to Reiki Level I in the Usui tradition — in the room, hand to hand, the way it's meant to be passed.
2025–2026
We carried on into Reiki Level II, deepening both the practice and the lineage I now hold.
Now
Over fifteen years in, Norma is still teaching me — breathwork, meditation, how to sit with life when it's hard, and reiki I both receive and give. Some of it is formal training. A lot of it is just showing up and being taught. The work has no finish line.
